Is how Oenghus Inc. Youth Services believes an idea, thought or vision may appear... without boundaries and no fear to dream of enless possibilities. With this desire in mind, our organisation strives to recognise the need for MORE SERVICES for young people that are indeed relevant. Add to this recipe is a need for more belief in what young people have to offer as a service participant, MORE TRAINING for people that work with young people, MORE CARE for workers that operate in communities, schools, health facilities and the law, MORE INNOVATION to broaden our ideas on what makes us all unite and work together as human beings... JUST PLAIN MORE!!!... (and less of the ordinary!).

Where does the name come from and how do you say it?
The name of our organisation kind of evolved... We were looking for something that best described the journey that everyone of us is currently on. Then we heard of a Celtic character that has been around for hundreds of years... his name - OENGUS, or ANGUS MACOG. We added the 'H'... Oenghus is a legend and once travelled the world supporting young people on their journeys. Our thinking pretty much matched his story... so, we named our service after him. Now... how do you say his name? We think that it may be pronounced as 'o-n-gus'.
