So, who are we, why do we exist and what have we to offer you?
Its simple really and our story begins here. Oenghus Inc. Youth Services is a non-for-profit youth and community services. That means, our organisation is entirely voluntary run, offer our services free to young people and that we cater not only for the needs of 12 to 25 year olds, but we also like to make ourselves available to communities as well.
Our services commenced in 2006, although the idea for creating a new youth service started over a conversation in 2003! We wanted to offer something uniquely different to what all of the other youth and community services where offering and really believed that to truly make this happen, the magic would have to come from those in which we were set up to serve - the young people!. Essentially, our services could not exist with 'youth'! The power, the motivation, the drive that exists within young minds is the most powerful thiing in the universe... sometimes though, it needs someone else to believe in them to unlock this untapped potential. This is were Oenghus comes into play...
Our mission statement (which is what keeps us real) reads:
"To deliver a service with respect, dignity and recognition of every individuals potential"
